Sigma Announces AML-1 Close-Up Lens, 46mm UV, and Circular Polarizer Filters for the Sigma DP1 Camera
Sigma today announced the launch of the new Close-up Lens AML-1 dedicated for the Sigma DP1 camera. When this lens is attached to the optional Hood Adapter HA-11, it enables close-up photography with a focusing distance between 20cm (7.87") and 33cm (13"). The exclusive design creates high image quality and the super multi-layer coating reduces flare and ghosting. The lens construction of 2 elements in 1 group provides correction for color aberration and distortion and delivers a high level of optical performance. The AML-1 is expected to ship in June with a price around $100. In a separate announcement, Sigma announced the launch of 46mm UV and Circular Polarizer filters for the DP1 camera. Read More
