Canon Announces Three New Color Scanners with Prices Starting at $59.99
Canon today announced three new color image scanners - the CanoScan 5600F ($149.99), CanoScan LiDE200 ($89.95) and CanoScan LiDE100 ($59.95). These three new CanoScan color image scanners provide an easy-to-use and affordable way to archive photos or to e-mail a document that needs to be submitted before the close-of-business. The CanoScan 5600F features 35mm slide/film scanning, 4800x9600 dpi resolution, a white LED which eliminates warm-up time and reduces power consumption, and features QARE technology which aids in automatic dust, scratch, fade and graininess reduction. The CanonScan LiDE200 and LiDE100 scanners use a Contact Image Sensor (CIS) and feature 4800x4800 dpi (LiDE200) and 2400x4800 dpi (LiDE100) resolution. Theses new models also feature the QARE technology as described above and a three-color LED for lower power consumption. Read More
