FUJIFILM U.S.A. Inc. today announced the first model in its digital camera line-up to offer full High-Definition compatibility - the FinePix S2000HD. Sporting a large 10-MegaPixel CCD, a powerful 15x wide-angle optical zoom (27.6mm-414mm equivalent) and an extra large 2.7" wide-view LCD, the FinePix S2000HD is perfect for advanced amateur photographers who want an affordable, step-up digital camera that will still fit in the palm of their hand. The S2000HD captures movies in HD quality 1280x720 pixels (16:9) and features both 1080i and 720p HDMI output. The camera also features Dual Image Stabilization, Face Detection and Automatic Red-Eye Removal, Manual controls, High-Speed Continuous Shooting (6.8fps at 5MP or 13.5fps at 3MP), Zoom Bracketing, 13 Scene Modes, and uses easy-to-find AA batteries.
