Canon preparing big EOS-7D firmware update
Canon has announced a significant firmware upgrade for their EOS-7D digital SLR. This free update, available in August, will improve the following:
  • Increases buffer size, allowing for 25 RAW images in a single burst, instead of 15
  • User can now set upper ISO limit when shooting with Auto ISO control
  • New in-camera RAW editor in playback mode
  • New manual audio adjustment
  • File names can now be customized
  • Quick Control menu now available in playback mode
  • Faster scrolling when using playback zoom feature
  • New rating and resizing features in playback mode
  • Adds support for the Canon GP-E2 GPS receiver
