Nikon Coolpix S550 Review by ePhotoZine

Review (Summary): "Such a small camera with such a large zoom. The Nikon Coolpix S550 has a 5x optical zoom packed into the thin exterior. I'm thinking that maybe it's a TARDIS with its blue shell. Powering it up and a small harp strum emits to hide the motor of the lens although it's quiet enough anyway. ..

Nikon D60 Digital SLR Review by Outback Photo

Review Diary (Summary): "In some way the D700 is closer to the D3 than the D300. We would be happy to use the D700 over the D3 and save some money. Other Pros handling very large lenses may decide differently. Why would you spend more money on the D700 over the D300? The simple answer: the full frame FX sensor. ...

Olympus E-3 Digital SLR Review by Megapixel.net

Review (Summary): "The Olympus E-3 can best be classified as a digital dreadnought. It is nicely balanced, however, which makes toting it around in the field less onerous than might be expected. ...

Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM Lens Review by DPReview

Review (Summary): "The 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM is the latest design from independent lens maker Sigma, announced in March 2008. It's a rare example of what is rapidly becoming an endangered species; an all-new, large maximum aperture, fixed focal length 'prime' lens, and (like Sigma's 30mm F1.4 DC before it) a hugely welcome addition to a market in danger of becoming saturated by identikit slow zooms. .

Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III DSLR Review by DPReview

Review (Summary): "Three years since the last EOS-1Ds, the Mark II, the Mark III pushes digital SLR resolution over the twenty megapixel barrier with specifically twenty-one-point-one million pixels (5616 x 3744) on its 36 x 24 mm (full 35 mm frame) sensor. Canon also claims to have increased the 'light gathering efficiency' of the sensor by reducing the amount of (wasted) space between micro lenses, hence despite the resolution increase the Mark III still provides sensitivity up to ISO 3200 (with boost enabled). ...

Nikon Coolpix S600 Review by PC Magazine

Review (Summary): "The 10-megapixel Nikon Coolpix S600 ($299.95 list) is about as basic as entry-level cameras come. You won't be capturing any photographic masterpieces with this point-and-shooter, but it will do the trick for family gatherings or vacation photos. ...

Sony Cybershot DSC-W300 Review by DCViews

Review (Summary): "The Sony W300 seems less responsive than some other cameras we have tested, in fact it is quite slow at times. Start up time is alright but especially when changing image settings or using the menu functions, there appears to be a longer wait than usual, before the menu is shown or the camera reacts. ...

Nikon D700 Digital SLR Review by Camera Labs

Review (Summary): "The D700 is Nikon's second full-frame DSLR. Announced on July 1st 2008, the D700 essentially takes the D3's large 'FX' format sensor and squeezes it into a D300-sized body. Along with being smaller and lighter than the flagship D3, it's also comfortably cheaper, making the D700 Nikon's first 'affordable' full-frame DSL

Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd Review by ePhotoZine

Review (Summary): "When I first opened the box I thought it had to be the ugliest camera I think I'd seen in my time at ePHOTOzine. The modest black square front with a white rectangle as the lens cover did nothing for me in terms of design or fashion. A week later and I'm having second thoughts as small, trendy features begin to shine through. None more so than the highly attractive yet seemingly unnecessary illuminated Z on the front of the lens cover. ...
